The Interagency Visitor Center - Providing an exceptional view of Mount Whitney, and a Sierra sky-line guide, the Interagency Visitor Center also offers exhibits, books, maps, and beautiful photographs highlighting the natural and cultural history of the region. On the grounds, common desert plants are tagged for those not already in-the-know. Staff at the Center are a wonderful source of information and advice, and have guided many visitors to a special experience of the west.
