Our Great Basin Office has moved to new digs in Carson City, Nevada. The office oversees Far Western’s operations in central and northern Nevada, and Oregon. Under the direction of Far Western Principal D. Craig Young, Ph.D., the staff includes six full-time archaeologists who provide an in-depth understanding of the archaeological record and of management challenges particular to Nevada and the Great Basin. The office serves as a regional, full-service, administrative and operational arm of Far Western. The new office is conveniently situated near the major government institutions in Carson City, and a short drive from the University of Nevada in Reno.
