Art Director and Graphic Designer Tammara Ekness Norton has been with Far Western for over 21 years and heads our design team. Ms. Norton has designed and overseen fabrication and installation of high quality exterior interpretive panels for the City of Vacaville, the Town of Truckee, the University of California at Davis, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), and the US military; and interior exhibits for California State Parks. Ms. Norton has designed numerous educational web sites and booklets for clients including the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CalFIRE), Caltrans, the Bureau of Land Management, and California State Parks. On each project, Ms. Norton works in tandem with Far Western researchers and other specialists to produce beautiful and informative products.
